Hey there used to be a guy that posted here named Jerry, I think.
He was sooo good at telling you what plants were edible.
Wonder if he's still around. Remember the pine cone seeds that
he said you could practically live off of.

i picked some Miner's Lettuce wild and it was really good. tastes like spinach but with more of a licorice flavor.

if you were in a survival situation and had made the transition to eating earthworms for protein and wild vegetables - where do you get your carbs ?

i think maybe walnuts and apples are 2 local things that i could get carbs from. makes me hungry just thinking about walnuts, i sun-dried and shelled about 20 pounds of them.

I think I remember Jerry was going to hitch a ride to europe and check it out on foot and bike. He was a classic. Hope he is keeping well. :RockOn:
